If a tree is dead, dying, diseased or evaluated as hazardous, it should be removed.

If a tree obstructs construction, is a danger because of power lines or spreading fire, or causing damage to other trees, it needs to be removed.

If a tree has been infested by insects or is diseased, it needs to be removed to prevent infecting other trees.
