Highly recommend Mark Mortensen and Mortensen Tree Service

We had Mortensen's Tree Service remove 2 huge dying evergreen trees that were over 50 years old.

They did an excellent job and were reasonably priced. I was even impressed with how well they cleaned everything up. Mark is reliable and followed through with phone calls, etc.

He's very knowledgeable, insured, certified, and in good standing with Better Business Bureau. A+

Mark and the guys at Mortensen Tree Service did a great job! I definitely recommend them. Excellent customer service!

They removed several dead Aspens, and trimmed all our other trees. They look great, and we have gotten compliments from our neighbors. Work was done as promised and when promised. Trees looked very natural afterwards. Mark is very knowledgeable, and explained the process –“the why and how” they did things. Very willing to answer questions. Excellent experience.

Mark Mortensen removed a large shrub from our front side-yard. From promptly returning phone calls, to quick scheduling and the care he took removing the shrub, (which had wrapped itself around a mailbox and a light pole) we found the customer service and work was outstanding.

While there, he offered many handy tips about yard and tree care. Mark's a very helpful and friendly guy. We'd recommend Mortensen Tree Service to anyone - and we have!

Snow Storm

I would like to thank Mark Mortensen and Mortensen Tree Service once again. He came to my house during a wicked snow storm that knocked part of my tree over and left the other half cracked and swaying in the wind. The snow was blowing sideways – a real blizzard! It really was a hazard situation. One scary night. If the rest of the tree came down it would have caused substantial damage to my neighbor’s house and the power lines.

Mark came out just before sundown and got the tree down safely by midnight. I was impressed how professional Mark was and how smooth the tree came down. I highly recommend Mark and Mortensen Tree Service and would like to thank him again. He and his crew are very professional and very competent.

Mark Mortensen and his team provided the timely and individual care I was looking for. I am most appreciative of the individualized care you took coming to my house and discussing the work with me as part of the estimate. The estimate was in line with the others I received but THE SERVICE EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS! Thank you for your great service in pruning and shaping the trees and bushes in my yard. It was long overdue. You could almost “feel” the trees taking a deep breath of fresh air after having a good trim! They will be ready for anything the Colorado weather can throw at them now! I highly recommend your services to any one checking out your references. Your company’s impeccable customer service is only surpassed by your obvious knowledge of urban horticulture.

I wanted to thank Mark for the great job he did on my trees. He trimmed up my crab apple tree and it looks great! in addition, he also took out a nasty juniper that was blocking all the light from my bedroom window. When it was all done it looked great and they did an excellent job on the clean up. It's nice to know that a guy like Mark is around to come in and do a really professional job. Thank you Mortensen Tree! Oh yea, one last thing. Mark recommended I treat my lawn to "Enviro-lawn". I was a little skeptical but once he applied the product, it made a real difference.
